As one of the major education disruptions, climate change is shifting the way young people connect to people and place, impacting their learning, learning environments, safety and stability. 快播视频 partnered with Capita to write about climate鈥檚 change鈥檚 impact on children and families and what that means for education.

Katherine Prince explores what the 2020 Census data can tell us about young children鈥檚 and families鈥 futures in the context of looming climate migration.

Joe Waters and Katherine Prince wrote for Charleston鈥檚 Post and Courier a piece on climate change threatening the ability of families and communities to provide these foundations, particularly in the American South.

鈥淗ousing has long been insecure for too many,鈥 as Katherine Prince writes. 鈥淐limate displacement will worsen the situation, making current divides more dire and threatening the futures of families and children.鈥

Katie King鈥檚 publication Finding Home argues that young children鈥檚 connections to other people and to their hometowns, states and countries are in flux due to shifting family structures and climate change.

In October 2024, we partnered with Penn State University and Global Schools Program for the Penn State K-12 Sustainability Summit,聽 a two-day event that brought together 24 Pennsylvania school districts with the Penn State community to collaborate on new pathways to increase sustainability efforts in the K-12 space.聽
